Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop high-precision automated electro-mechanical systems.

This role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking for the next challenge in their career, who can design and develop reliable robust designs, integrate electromechanical sub-assemblies into complex systems, and deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.

  • Designing and developing high-precision automated electro-mechanical systems
  • Integration of electromechanical sub-assemblies into complex systems
  • Delivering technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability
  • LEAN/Six Sigma practices and principles to develop reliable robust designs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in designing and developing high-precision automated electro-mechanical systems
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and applicable standards
  • Experience of supplier or manufacturing fabrication processes
  • Knowledge of material properties
  • Practical experience of supplier or manufacturing fabrication processes
  • Experience of simulation packages (CFD, FEA etc.)
  • Siemens NX and Teamcenter experience
  • Control systems engineering knowledge
  • Verification and Validation experience
