Job Description

Cunningham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to lead our civils projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing site-based operations, ensuring high-quality results while adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They must be able to interpret drawings and possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Coordinating and managing all direct labour, subcontractors, and trades.
  • Ensuring all subcontractors, trades and labour have adequate resources to complete works according to a tight schedule.
  • Promoting a safe work culture.
  • Communicating and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitating mandatory safety toolbox talk meetings.
  • Participating in safety/incident investigations as necessary.
  • Ensuring that plant and equipment checks are carried out on site as required.
  • Communicating the job to and with crews involved.
  • Assigning crew tasks and resolving issues between crew members.
  • Maintaining work standards and outlining behavioural expectations to ensure crew morale and productivity.
  • Periodically reassessing daily goals to meet forecasted production.
  • Overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production, ensuring that the crew works to job specifications following all plans.
  • Inspecting and measuring completed work.
  • Maintaining site foreman's log & site reports.
  • Reporting on work progress as and when requested.
  • Establishing and promoting best quality practice.
">Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
  • Site-based experience including working in a fast-paced and pressured environment adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.
  • Extensive site experience of civils & Utilities including Power, Water & Sewage.
  • A full driving licence and access to own transport.
