We are seeking a Senior Financial Operations Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

This role involves managing U.S. GAAP reporting responsibilities, communicating with external accounting providers, and bookkeeping on Oracle with supporting documentation.

The ideal candidate will provide commentary on unexpected costs and variances in trends, coordinate with internal team members and functional group members to resolve issues relating to accounting entries, and complete monthly reconciliation, journals, and controls.

Additionally, the successful candidate will prepare and maintain local statutory financial statements, serve as a point of contact for testing technical system enhancements and improvements, and continuously review processes to identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like accounting or finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification
  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a multinational environment
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliation
  • Experience with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and SOX regulations and local GAAP reporting experience
  • Experience working under strict deadlines and ensuring compliance with company policies
