Job Summary:

We seek a seasoned Project Engineer to lead Technical Engineering projects in Carlow. As a key team member, you will oversee process improvements, capital projects, and lean initiatives across multiple functions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage project lifecycle from scope development through to handover for Technical Engineering projects.
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement to ensure engineering solutions align with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring adequate resource allocation for core teams.
  • Present project updates to approval committees.
  • Apply technical expertise to develop risk-based approaches to investigations and troubleshooting.
  • Establish project scope, cost, and delivery time schedules for Tech Eng projects, integrating with ongoing validations and/or technical transfers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project scope in improvement projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on equipment design and qualification, assisting in C&Q execution planning and system boundary definition.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or engineering field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a project/process/validation/CQV engineering role.
  • Project management skills.
  • People management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of sterile filling processes and equipment.
  • Experience executing and/or managing through equipment and process design and validation in a sterile environment.
  • Good shipping/filter/cleaning validation knowledge required.
  • Proven record in planning and basic project management of a team to deliver on time/schedule.
  • Proven contractor and vendor management.
