Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Overview:

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to work with a prestigious client base across various industries.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior accountant to join our team. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for providing operational supervision of assignments, managing client relationships, and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Supervision: You will oversee the operational aspects of assignments, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Client Management: You will manage relationships with clients, delivering excellent service and coordinating service offerings from other departments.
  • Training and Development: You will be involved in training student trainees, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting and Presentation: You will prepare and present reports to clients and partners on request.
  • Audit and Financial Statements: You will prepare and complete audit/audit exempt financial statements.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: You must hold a qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Experience: You must have a minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience (PQE) and be currently working as a senior in a practice environment.
  • Skills and Knowledge: You must have experience in operational supervision, client relationship management, and tax. A thorough understanding of risk, Irish GAAP, FRS102, and current issues is essential.
  • Technical Skills: You must be proficient in audit strategies, Terms of Engagement, FRS102, Irish and UK GAAP, and CA2014.
  • Clients and Sectors: You must be able to work with diverse clients across multiple sectors.
