Job Role: Catering Assistant

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Catering Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen and service area operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of food and excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and presentation, set-up of the venue, and providing exceptional customer experiences for our guests.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to follow instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation and presentation, and set-up of the venue
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences for our guests
  • Wash and clean dishes, utensils, and cleaning kitchen equipment using professional equipment
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas at all times
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels with a proactive approach

As a Catering Assistant, you will work closely with your colleagues and managers to ensure seamless operation and effective communication.

You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment, develop new skills, and expand your knowledge in the hospitality industry.

Requirements:
  • Living in Ireland, within a commutable distance from Waterford area, and hold a valid work permit
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Food Safety and HACCP knowledge
  • A positive and can-do attitude
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and multitask
