Financial Advisory Specialist

This is a brilliant chance to develop your skills in a client-facing and varied General Practice role that will be heavily focused on providing business advisory, accounting, audit, and tax services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with full-cycle client management across accounts, tax, and audit.
- Run reports and prepare analyses to support management decisions.
- Complete and file VAT and tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing for and completing company audits, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Offer advice to clients on tax planning and efficiency strategies.
- Assist with the preparation of customer statements to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end close process, preparing reconciliation and financial analysis files for review by senior management.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and compile reports of financial results.
- Working towards completion of a recognized accounting certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with proficiency in numerical and problem-solving areas.
- Experience with various IT systems and software, including Excel and accounting packages.
