Financial Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Administration Officer to join our team at Southside Personnel. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Community's finances, including bookkeeping, banking transactions, and compliance administration.
- Prepare quarterly income and expenditure accounts for submission to the Provincial Bursars office.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and arrange payments to suppliers through online banking.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and provide support to the Finance Manager as needed.
- Ensure the safekeeping of financial and administrative records.
- Collaborate with the auditors to assist with annual reviews/audits of the community accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in Sage.
- Banking Transactions: Manage the Community's banking transactions, including reconciliations and compliance administration.
- Compliance Administration: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding financial administration.
- Payroll: Provide rosters to the Bursars office and assist with payroll-related queries.
- HR: Record annual and sick leave for all employees in the community and ensure the safekeeping of HR-related documents and files.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Sage Accounts.
- Excellent organizational, scheduling, and time management skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 3 years previous general accounts experience.
