About The Address Collective

The Address Collective is a company seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join its finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Handle various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  2. Manage goods inward invoices, accounts receivable, daily income audits, and financial email correspondence.
Main Accountabilities:
  1. Match purchase orders, delivery dockets, and invoices using Procure Wizard.
  2. Evaluate discrepancies in goods received and resolve them promptly.
  3. Accounts Receivable Management:
    1. Post and reconcile payments using the Hotshot system.
    2. Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
  4. Daily Income Audit:
    1. Perform daily income audit testing to verify cash and credit card transactions.
    2. Reconcile cash lodgements and credit card payments.
    3. Identify and resolve any discrepancies that arise during audits.
  5. Email and Administrative Management:
    1. Manage the finance department's email inbox, ensuring timely responses to queries.
    2. Organize and file financial documents electronically and physically as needed.
    3. Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and document preparation.
    Requirements:
    1. Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar role.
    2. Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Procure Wizard and Hotshot is a plus).
    3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    5. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
    6. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
    7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
