We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team. As an Apprentice Motor Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient repair and servicing of motor vehicles.

Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to pursue a career as a Vehicle Technician with a view to becoming a competent and fully trained professional with an internationally recognised qualification.

You will be responsible for undertaking the repairs and servicing of motor vehicles, detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repairs, and ensuring that all work is completed safely, complying with manufacturers' and industry guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a keen interest in motor vehicles, a minimum grade achieved in English, Maths, and a Science Based Subject. You will also need to be enthusiastic, committed and confident with an analytical and methodical way of thinking, and able to demonstrate a high regard for customer care and professionalism.

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
  • Possession of a FETAC/QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft or equivalent qualification

Others:

The duration of the apprenticeship is a minimum of 4 years. On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive a FETAC/QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft. This qualification is recognised both nationally and internationally.
