Director of Data

This senior leadership role focuses on shaping and leading the enterprise-wide data strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate business strategy into high-impact data and analytics initiatives that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Champion a culture of insight-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Lead the delivery of predictive models, dashboards, and advanced analytics solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive governance and data quality standards to ensure insights are trusted, secure, and scalable.
  • Mentor, develop, and lead a distributed team of analytics professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure analytics directly supports enterprise objectives.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • 8+ years' senior experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence leadership within large-scale or regulated environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level data programmes that unlock measurable business value.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Tableau Cloud), governance, and AI/ML applications.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, able to influence at board and executive level.
  • Skilled at leading diverse teams and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Airline industry experience is essential, with a deep understanding of aviation-specific operational and commercial metrics.
