Residential Construction Lead

Key Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our construction project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing new build apartments valued over €20M from ground to handover.

Main Tasks:

  • Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
  • Report to the Contracts Manager.
  • Direct and manage site staff and subcontractors, and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops, and plans.
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers, and Service Coordinators for accurate information.
  • Liaise with local authorities as required.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the construction phase, collaborating with the design team and architect to minimize delays.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager with a Main Contractor.
  • Experience managing new build apartment schemes is crucial.
  • Background in engineering is desirable.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programmes and schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and excellent IT skills.
