Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager for a long-term contract assignment based onsite in Westmeath. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal role in delivering significant site infrastructure projects.


This is a hybrid position, with 4 days onsite.


Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of utility upgrade projects, with a primary focus on chilled water, cooling water, and low-pressure hot water (LPHW) systems.
  • Overseeing associated electrical, piping, and automation infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in strict accordance with all regulatory standards and specifications.
  • Reviewing and coordinating utility designs to ensure they meet end-user requirements.
  • Preparing and managing project budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Developing and coordinating detailed project schedules.
  • Preparing and coordinating project specifications, tender documents, risk registers, and contracts.
  • Leading the resolution of engineering challenges during construction and commissioning.
  • Providing regular project updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in the management of engineering capital investment projects.
  • Proven experience in the delivery of chilled water and heat pump projects.
  • Experience working within the Pharmaceutical industry is also an advantage but not essential.
