Senior Infrastructure Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Lead to join our Transportation team in Dublin, Ireland.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position responsible for delivering complex infrastructure projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be a seasoned project manager with a strong track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams comprising designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and change control.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, as well as develop contingency plans to minimize potential impacts.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, issues, and lessons learned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, project management) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Chartered status with a recognized professional institution (e.g., Engineers Ireland).
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in Ireland/UK, demonstrating expertise in all stages of the project life cycle.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
