This sales and merchandising role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading field marketing company on an international brand.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a geographic area, delivering excellence in merchandising principles and execution through the implementation of client initiatives and development of strong relationships.
- Build and maintain full distribution of all client products and NPD as and when they arise.
- Merchandise in the regions, primarily in the convenience channel.
- Generate extra space for brands and client's products by implementing store assortment optimisation.
- Merchandise all client SKU's and replenish stock on shelf, building display units and feature displays.
- Place Point of Sale and Points of Interruption – enhancing Path to Purchase.
- Meet Company Expectations for POS placement, Marketing materials, SEL's, Distribution and Space Call Completion.
- Capture and Report all in-store BAT & Competitor activity via handheld.
- Build and maintain local level relationships.
- Flexibility may be needed from time to time (Festivals, Matches, events etc.).
- Problem solver with a can-do attitude that displays social intelligence.
- Understands the importance of Merchandising, Category Planning and planograms.
- Merchandising and product availability experience in the FMCG sector.
- Proven record in delivering behaviors commensurate with company guidelines.
- Proven record in building great working relationships with line managers, peers and customers.
- Good interpersonal Skills.
- Excellent verbal, communication and personal organizational skills.
- Ability to overcome objections and strong business acumen.
- Knowledge and experience of using tablet-based toolkits, CRM & auditing tools.
- Full clean driving license.
- At least 2 years' experience in this sector.
