Discover a fulfilling career as a financial analyst in our dynamic and growing lifescience business located in Galway City. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, annual statements, and other internal or external reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create monthly financial reports, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss analysis, to inform business decisions.
  • Evaluate and prepare Statutory Financial Statements that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with auditors and tax specialists to ensure compliance with external reporting standards.
  • Support the preparation of SOX Compliance and Reporting documents.
  • Process journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and implement process improvements to optimize duties.

You will report to the Finance Manager and work on a hybrid basis, four days in-office and one day remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

Requirements
  • Possess ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Hold a third-level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate 0-5 years of experience, preferably in a Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation background.
  • Have experience with SAP/Oracle or major ERP Systems.
  • Show excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently as part of a team.
  • Show strong computer skills, especially in MS Office.
