Sustainability Cost Specialist

We are seeking a Sustainability Cost Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our client's projects are not only financially efficient but also environmentally responsible.

You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to implement sustainable practices, optimize costs, and minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement sustainability-focused cost management strategies.
  2. Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide recommendations to ensure projects align with sustainability goals.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for cost savings through sustainable practices.
  4. Assess and manage the financial impact of sustainability initiatives on projects.
  5. Prepare and present cost reports that highlight sustainable practices and their financial implications.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability and cost management.
  7. Support the client in achieving green certifications by aligning cost management practices with certification requirements.
  8. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on sustainability in cost management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in cost management within the construction, infrastructure, or consulting sectors.
  2. Strong understanding of sustainability principles and their application in cost management.
  3. Demonstrated ability to deliver cost-effective and sustainable solutions on complex projects.
  4. Familiarity with green building certifications and sustainable design practices.
  5. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Relevant qualifications in cost management, sustainability, or a related field.
  7. A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental change.
