Renewable Energy Developer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced renewable energy developer to contribute to driving Ireland's transition to clean energy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of solar and wind energy projects throughout all stages
  • Collaborate with landowners to secure land agreements through effective communication and negotiation
  • Work closely with external consultants on technical and environmental matters
  • Assist in early-stage site design and yield assessments
  • Collaborate across teams on planning, stakeholder, and land issues
  • Manage grid applications in coordination with internal technical support
  • Monitor and report project progress through status reports and presentations
  • Attend industry events to enhance company visibility and networks
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
  • 23 years experience in a similar role within the energy sector
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Able to think creatively and solve problems pragmatically
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Commercial awareness and ability to evaluate new opportunities
  • A team player with proactive and collaborative approach

Key qualifications include strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field, as well as 23 years experience in a similar role within the energy sector.
