Job Description

We are seeking a senior professional to lead our transition to renewable energy.

This role involves designing and delivering practical solutions to accelerate our use of renewable energy sources, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and engaging suppliers to reduce emissions.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for sourcing 100% renewable electricity by 2030, integrating renewable energy across the value chain.
  • Manage a portfolio of renewable energy projects from conception to execution, ensuring successful delivery and reporting on emission reductions.
  • Establish scalable governance structures, including project plans, data pipelines, dashboards, and scorecards for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to educate, influence, and inform them about renewable energy adoption and procurement.
  • Work with life cycle assessment experts to integrate renewable energy data into product and corporate footprint models.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving industry standards and best practices to ensure compliance and identify new opportunities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in engineering, science, or sustainability, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in renewable energy, sustainability, or program management roles with a proven track record in supply chain and operations.
  • Deep knowledge of renewable energy deployment, including CDP, GHG Protocol, RE100, SBTi, EACs, PPAs, and supplier engagement.
  • Experience working in fast-moving consumer goods brands or global supply-chain environments.
  • Success in delivering complex projects in low-structure environments, simplifying complexity, and pragmatic decision-making.
  • Strong program/project management skills, including scope, budgeting, vendor negotiation, and execution tracking.
  • Proficiency in Excel/data analysis, statistical methods, dashboards, and data quality assurance.
  • Strategic thinking with tactical instincts, translating diverse data into decisions and action.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to build alignment and engage diverse suppliers globally.
  • Comfortable working independently, with high autonomy and self-motivation.
