CAD Design Professional

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor junior design staff as a skilled CAD Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the creation of CAD/BIM drawings, with a focus on residential and commercial projects in Ireland or the UK.

The role involves working closely with clients and design teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet their needs. A strong background in civil/structural projects within Ireland or the UK is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in Civil3D, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Management: Oversee the creation of CAD/BIM drawings, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Client Liaison: Attend client meetings, provide design updates, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Development: Identify new business opportunities, collaborate with design teams, and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record in civil/structural projects within Ireland or the UK.
  • Skillset: Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Civil3D, AutoCAD, and Revit, and a strong work ethic.
