Senior Building Services Design Technician

Leverage your expertise in Revit and AutoCAD software to drive project success from concept to completion. Our team requires a highly skilled Senior MEP Technician to deliver high-quality technical drawings, schematics, and plans that meet industry standards and client specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience working as a BIM & CAD Technician within an engineering or design team, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in Revit/CAD certification is essential, along with previous experience as a Revit/CAD Technician. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.

The role involves collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings. Key responsibilities include producing accurate and detailed drawings using Revit/AutoCAD software, conducting clash detection analysis, and providing solutions to optimize coordination between various disciplines. Additionally, the successful candidate will revise and update drawings as necessary based on feedback from stakeholders and maintain organized documentation of drawings and project files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems for various projects
  • Create detailed drawings, schematics, and plans using Revit/AutoCAD software
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements
  • Conduct clash detection analysis and provide solutions to optimize coordination
  • Revise and update drawings as necessary based on feedback from stakeholders
  • Maintain organized documentation of drawings and project files

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience working in the role of BIM & CAD Technician within a team of Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Design
  • Revit/CAD Certified
  • Previous experience as a Revit/CAD Technician
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
