Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to lead technology transfer and scale-up of new processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Quality, Compliance, and Safety standards are met through Technology Transfer and related activities.
  • Collaborate with the Vaccine Technology Transfer group to enhance team performance within the Technical Operations Department.
  • Responsible for technical transfer and scale-up of new processes into Vaccines IPT.
  • Contribute to Technical planning and decisions for the Vaccines IPT, ensuring supply of high-quality products through tactical planning and execution of production schedules.
  • Review, own, and approve Change Control, Quality Notification, deviation, and investigation records as required.
  • Recommend technical approaches aligned with global and local standards.
  • Benchmark and stay current with developments in vaccine and biopharmaceutical processing technologies, seeking to deploy process improvements through innovation and utilization of these advances.
  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement by deploying MPS on projects such as problem-solving, reducing cycle time, and Lean principles within new processes.
  • Manage stakeholders, including decision-makers, corporate colleagues, and cross-functional teams, demonstrating trust-building relationships at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Experience in biopharmaceutical/vaccines environment.
  • Honorable Degree or Master's in Science or Engineering discipline (preferably Biotechnology).
  • Preferring Lean Six Sigma qualification or experience with Lean principles.
  • Project management qualification such as Project Management Professional desirable.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
