Job Summary:

Structural Steel Detailer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Detailer to join our team. As a key member of our dynamic crew, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed steel fabrication drawings, interpreting design specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

A successful candidate will possess a strong background in structural steel design principles, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication skills. About the Role:

  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to create detailed steel fabrication drawings.
  • Utilize CAD software to produce accurate shop drawings, erection plans, and material lists.
  • Evaluate and revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
  • Maintain organized documentation and project files.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Structural Steel Detailer or similar role within the steel fabrication industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel design principles, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Effective communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Certification in structural detailing or CAD drafting is a plus.
