Structural Steel Fabrication Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Fabrication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality GA drawings, fabrication details and BOMs using Tekla 3D.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of GA drawings, fabrication details and BOMs using Tekla 3D
  • Creation of 3D models and fabrication drawings from site surveys, architects drawings and structural engineers detail
  • Liaising with different teams and customers to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience working within structural steel in construction, from secondary steelwork, staircases, mezzanines, to industrial & agricultural portal frame buildings
  • Experienced using Tekla and/or StruCAD to produce drawings
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
