Silver Stream Healthcare Group seeks a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As a leader in elderly care, this role offers the opportunity to develop services, manage operations, and improve the quality of life for our residents.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, a deep understanding of the National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Key responsibilities include overseeing the organisation and management of operations, implementing clinical policies and procedures, and supporting the development of person-centred care plans.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure effective communication with residents, families, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams. They will also lead and guide Clinical Nurse Managers in daily unit management and participate in overall governance meetings as required.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Registered General Division qualification
  • Elderly Care Qualification
  • Management Qualification
  • Minimum 3 years elderly care experience at management level
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care
