Electrical Engineer Internship

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or student looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of electrical engineering. You will have the chance to work with experienced professionals on multi-disciplinary design teams and contribute to real projects in the built environment.

  • Design and calculate electrical services, including electrical distribution, cable containment, small power, lighting & emergency lighting, fire detection and alarm systems, ICT, security, and earthing systems.
  • Work in a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment using Revit and Navisworks to prepare fully coordinated 3D design models for projects.
  • Liaise with and work effectively with staff from other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Take guidance from experienced electrical engineers and BIM technicians.
  2. Implement quality assurance procedures for all deliverables and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
  3. Communicate effectively in a team environment with a broad cross-section of individuals.
