Deputy General Manager

As a seasoned hotel professional, we are seeking an exceptional Deputy General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.


About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Key responsibilities include leading and motivating teams, implementing strategic plans, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, driving efficiency and quality across departments.
  • Leadership Development: Foster a positive work environment, promoting team growth and development through mentorship and coaching.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and control budgets, analysing financial reports and making informed decisions to drive business success.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience, responding promptly to feedback and concerns.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Hotel Operations Experience: A minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position within a busy 4-star hotel in Ireland.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and payroll management.
