Senior Data Modelling Specialist

Design and implement robust, scalable data models that meet business needs. Develop best practice data pipelines and engineering standards within Snowflake and related technologies.

  • Work closely with the Data Team to develop a roadmap of data products focused on business value.
  • Provide high-quality data products and technical guidance to stakeholders to support AI initiatives.
  • Enable the company to become a data-driven organisation by using insights to inform decisions and deliver growth.
  • Mentor data team members and foster a culture of learning and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Experience building large-scale data platforms using Snowflake or similar technology.
  • Business focus – extensive experience designing and building dimensional data models based on Kimball Methodology principles.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering, data science, business).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and govern best practice data models, pipelines, data engineering standards, and security practices within Snowflake and related technologies.
  • Support the delivery of AI initiatives through the provision of high-quality data products and guidance to stakeholders.
