Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Integration Specialist to join our team, responsible for transforming data from diverse sources into a centralised repository optimised for analytics and insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transform structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into the data warehouse, optimising for analytics and insights.
  • Develop end-to-end data projects, including development, testing, deployment, and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to support insight generation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards in collaboration with IT, Information Security, and Data Protection teams.
  • Provide first and second line support for data systems managed by the Data Analytics Team.
  • Enhance data governance and internal capabilities through SOP development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Strong programming skills in both SQL and Python;
  • Experience working with, and certification in, Azure suite of tools including, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, MS Fabric, Power BI and Azure Dev Ops and integration with GIT;
  • Experience with relational data systems and data architecture paradigms (e.g. SQL, No SQL, Spark, Delta Lakehouse);
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and development, data quality principles, Agile processes, and Data Ops best practices including coding standards, version control, testing, and operations;
  • Experience with enterprise systems and diverse data sources, including SAP ERP, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and on-prem databases (structured and unstructured).
