Analytics Transformation Specialist

As an Analytics Transformation Specialist, you will work closely with our data architects, visualization engineers, and data engineers to design robust data pipelines from various data sources. You will leverage cloud and open source tools to develop scalable and sustainable data transformations that curate, clean, and store data efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with subject matter experts to understand complex datasets and applications to build next-generation data applications.
  • Partner with IT functions and business teams to gather requirements and convert them into data transformation specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and use advanced cloud data warehouse techniques to build innovative solutions.
  • Perform data profiling, harmonize diverse data sets, and ensure high performance and reliability of data transformation processes.
  • Apply enhancements to models as needed and perform bug fixes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a data analyst or data engineer.
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python to wrangle, clean, and integrate data from various sources.
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern data warehouse design principles and data engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field.
  • Experience in developing analytics engineering pipelines using DBT.
  • Knowledge of Git/GitHub, dbt Core/Cloud, and Airflow.
  • Experience working on cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
