Job Summary

We seek an experienced and results-driven executive to lead our global procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive procurement strategy, leading cross-functional project teams, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.


Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan aligned with business objectives, driving cost savings, process improvements, and supplier development.
  • Team Management: Lead a global sourcing team to deliver high-quality outcomes, leveraging expertise in category management, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Foster collaborative relationships with key suppliers, driving value creation through innovation, quality, and service excellence.
  • Process Optimization: Embed advanced analytics and digital tools into procurement practices, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: A seasoned executive with over 20 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management, including senior leadership roles within global life sciences organizations.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, financial modeling, procurement transformation, and process optimization, as well as managing complex, multi-regional sourcing operations.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills; ability to navigate a dynamic, matrixed environment and manage diverse priorities across global functions and geographies.
