We are seeking an experienced Global Category Manager to join our global procurement team.

This role offers the chance to influence procurement strategy on a global scale, working across regions and business units.

  • Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for a major global category with significant spend.
  • Align global procurement strategies with regional needs and business objectives.
  • Drive performance on key metrics such as cost optimisation, supplier rationalisation, compliance, and working capital.
  • Manage supplier relationships and contracts with a focus on performance, risk, and data security.
  • Guide and mentor regional category teams, ensuring consistent execution and continuous improvement.
  • Foster adoption of internal tools and preferred suppliers through stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years' experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management, ideally with a global or regional remit.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing indirect procurement categories such as travel within a complex international business.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings, compliance, and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools.
  • A relevant Master's degree (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Procurement) is preferred.
