Job Title: Clinical Specialist

Location: Limerick, Ireland

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified clinical specialist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a clinical specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological services to adults with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert psychological assessments and interventions to adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Provide education and training to staff on psychological principles and practices

Essential Criteria:

  • Honours degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Postgraduate professional qualification recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Desirable Criteria:

  • Doctoral training in Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Knowledge of Department of Health & Children and PSI guidelines for appointment
