Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of large- and small-scale renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design infrastructure and site layout, including Civil 3D cut/fill analysis.
  • Create access track designs for floating and excavated roads.
  • Conduct transport route assessments and swept path analysis.
  • Evaluate sightlines and site entrance requirements.
  • Lay out crane hardstanding areas and coordinate with other teams.
  • Manage geotechnical site investigations.
  • Plan surface water SuDS drainage systems and prepare reports.
  • Audit flood risk assessments and coordinate flood analysis efforts.
  • Design traditional foul and surface water drainage systems.
  • Prepare planning submissions, drawings, and supporting documentation.
  • Develop Construction and Environmental Management Plans (CEMP).
  • Create transport route assessment reports for abnormal loads.
  • Develop traffic management plans and coordinate traffic studies.
  • Design civil engineering solutions for electrical substations and grid connections.
  • Lay out AIS, GIS, and overhead/underground systems.
  • Prepare BCMS and ancillary certification documentation.
  • Verify planning and building regulation compliance.
  • Map land registries and handle easements, rights of way, and wayleaves.
  • Draft declarations of identity.
  • Craft contracts, administer construction, and monitor progress.
  • Assume Health & Safety responsibilities as a Principal Designer.
Requirements:
  • Strong grasp of engineering principles and project lifecycle.
  • Experience collaborating across disciplines and with contractors.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and design software.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and written communication.
  • Organized and efficient with excellent time management.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Infodrainage, QGIS, Robot, and Tekla Tedds is a plus.
