Project Management Lead:

The Project Management Lead will oversee the successful execution of engineering projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all project and business safety and quality objectives. Key responsibilities include defining new project scopes, securing capital approval, leading commissioning and qualification activities, updating senior management and stakeholders, coordinating interfaces with other projects and departments, and ensuring adherence to corporate and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversight of engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Secure capital approval for new projects.
  • Lead, support, and participate in commissioning and qualification activities for current and future projects.
  • Update and influence senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate interfaces with other projects and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Report to Principal Project Delivery Engineer/Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Science.
  • Experience in delivering engineering projects within a regulated environment.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with SAP, LIMs, and/or other business systems.
  • 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe problem-solving training or similar methodology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.

Working Environment:

This is a long-term contract role with a duration of 5-10 years at an API manufacturing site.
