We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. This is a 6-month contract based at our Shared Services Centre in Cherrywood Business Park, Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin.

The role involves working on-site 4 days and 1 day from home with flexible start and finish times. You will be responsible for accurate and timely reporting of intercompany transactions, collaborating with global affiliates, and identifying root causes of aged balances.

As a Senior Accountant, you will also be responsible for:

  • Managing month-end intercompany reconciliations
  • Promptly escalating issues related to intercompany GRIR accounts
  • Providing reports and analysis to support the audit process
  • Supporting the German team in MEC activities initially, with a transition as the Intercompany COE team absorbs processes from other SSO entities
  • Assisting in the implementation of the Centre of Excellence team and training future CoE team members
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Cultivating relationships with intercompany CoE teams in other regions
  • Contributing to ad hoc projects as needed

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a Shared Service Centre or multinational corporation
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA), either partially or fully completed
  • Familiarity with SAP an advantage
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, with experience in PowerBi considered advantageous
