Job Description:

The Enterprise Enablement & Cloud Solutions team is responsible for delivering Platform & Technology Enablement, Quality Assurance, Framework & Standards Leadership and Enterprise Apps Management.

This role will have responsibility for creating common CI/CD to deliver on pipeline standards and targets for technology to introduce efficiencies and improve quality.

The successful candidate will be technical, passionate, and self-driven, who loves to learn, solve problems, and contribute to the modernisation of technologies and capabilities.

  • Interest in contributing to DevOps and Automation Community of Practices
  • Ability to promote new DevOps tooling and strategy
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving build & deployment issues for teams
  • Ability to collaborate across Development, Test, Infrastructure, Security and Operations teams
  • Ability to tutor and mentor Dev Teams on DevSecOps practices
  • Ability to script complex solutions and solve problems automating manual tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Continuous Integration, Build & Deployment Automation skills
  • Excellent understanding of DevOps and CI/CD
  • Knowledge of Jenkins & Declarative Pipelines
  • Experience with Git, Maven, Groovy, Docker/Containerisation
  • Experience working in Software lifecycle Management
  • General Knowledge of the quality process associated to development workflows
  • Knowledge on branching strategies
  • Relevant Third Level IT qualification
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment
  • Strong Communication and influencing skills
