About the Role

The position of Backdock Operative is crucial for creating a great shopping experience at our store. A successful Backdock Operative has excellent product knowledge, provides outstanding customer service, helps create a positive experience for customers, and is enthusiastic in helping the team achieve high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain a clean and tidy backdock while ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service and act in a professional manner at all times.
  • Verify all deliveries to ensure no substandard or incorrect goods are delivered to customers.
  • Protect and secure our stock.
Requirements:
  • Leaving cert or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Forklift training is preferred.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused, fast-paced industry is essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, is beneficial.

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
