">The hospital operates to a high standard of veterinary medicine, equipped with advanced surgical, diagnostic, and medical facilities. Our team includes highly experienced vets and nurses, including certificate holders across a range of specialties such asDiagnostic Imaging, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Endoscopy, ECC, and Anaesthesia.
">As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients in line with the standards of the Veterinary Council of Ireland. You will manage a wide range of cases and perform surgical procedures with confidence and precision, maintain accurate medical records, and prescribe medications safely.
">You will provide clear, empathetic communication with clients regarding diagnostics, treatment options, and care plans, ensuring an excellent client experience across all interactions. You will also promote preventative healthcare plans and insurance to support optimal patient wellbeing, collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver consistent, compassionate veterinary care, and participate in staff training and contribute to maintaining best practice standards.
">Requirements include membership of the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI), strong surgical and clinical skills, excellent communication, teamwork, and client-care abilities, and motivation to develop professionally within a supportive team environment. This part-time role (20 hours per week, with flexibility) offers a salary dependent on experience.
