Compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist

This is a part-time position with flexibility for a skilled and motivated veterinary surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience, a strong interest in small animal practice, and a commitment to providing the highest level of care.

We operate to a high standard of veterinary medicine, equipped with advanced surgical, diagnostic, and medical facilities. Our team includes highly experienced vets and nurses, certificate holders across a range of specialties such as Diagnostic Imaging, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Endoscopy, ECC, and Anaesthesia.

The key responsibilities of this role include diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients in line with the standards of the Veterinary Council of Ireland, managing a wide range of cases, and performing surgical procedures with confidence and precision.

Other responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, prescribing medications safely, providing clear communication with clients regarding diagnostics, treatment options, and care plans, ensuring an excellent client experience, promoting preventative healthcare plans and insurance to support optimal patient wellbeing, collaborating effectively with colleagues, and contributing to maintaining best practice standards.

The requirements for this role are membership of the Veterinary Council of Ireland, strong surgical and clinical skills, excellent communication, teamwork, and client-care abilities, and motivation to develop professionally within a supportive team environment.

This role offers a salary dependent on experience, and we encourage continuous professional development.
