Lead Site Sustainability Specialist: A Critical Role in Energy Management and Electrical Engineering

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our site's energy management and sustainability strategy, while serving as the subject matter expert for electrical engineering. In this dual-capacity role, you will drive initiatives that enhance energy efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and embed sustainability practices across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive energy management program to minimize consumption and costs.
  • Analyze and report on site energy consumption and sustainability metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement energy-efficient projects aligned with corporate goals.
  • Promote site-wide energy awareness through training, communication, and cultural initiatives to foster a culture of sustainability.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with energy regulations and corporate sustainability policies.
Electrical Engineering Support:
  • Lead electrical design reviews, troubleshooting, and safety compliance to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Support electrical project upgrades, modifications, and preventive maintenance builds to maintain system reliability.
  • Optimize electrical systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate electrical documentation and coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or related discipline required.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in both electrical engineering and energy management within an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in energy data analysis and electrical system design software.
  • Strong knowledge of energy management systems, sustainability frameworks, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
