**Job Title:** Localization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our localization department, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality translation of our games and marketing materials.

**Responsibilities:

  1. Translate in-game text, voice scripts, and marketing content into Simplified Chinese
  2. Collaborate with external vendors to improve language quality
  3. Maintain awareness of industry trends and communicate them to stakeholders
  4. Develop and build relationships with stakeholders to resolve terminology, language quality, and workflow issues
  5. Playtest to confirm in-game text context for accurate translation

**Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience localizing video games
  • Strong writing and editing skills in Simplified Chinese
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience localizing time-delimited dialogues
  • Experience with CAT Tools, memoQ is a plus

**Nice to Have:

  • At least one AAA game shipped
  • Experience with voice acting casting
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA
