We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech Therapist to join our team in Cavan. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing speech therapy services to children and families within the region.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of a speech therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, and intervention. They will also provide clinical supervision, ongoing service delivery to children with disabilities, and support to special schools.
- Registration with CORU is required.
- Three years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
- Annual registration on the Speech Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 0-18 years, their families, and relevant training in management of feeding disorders, autism, and assessment of need. A valid driving license and access to own transport are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to children and families.
- Assess and diagnose speech disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
