We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Delivery Postie. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of mail and packages across the region.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers within a designated area. This will involve driving a company vehicle, navigating through various terrain, and interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

In addition to this core responsibility, the ideal candidate will also be required to:

  • Be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, while still being an integral part of our team
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the delivery area, including familiarising yourself with local roads, customer habits, and any relevant operational procedures
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in completing deliveries, while adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • A strong sense of self-motivation and independence, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike
  • Physical stamina to withstand the demands of regular walking and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
