Process Improvement Lead

This role plays a pivotal part in driving forward-looking process enhancements, supporting the successful launch of new products and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will lead key projects, mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable process excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, refine, scale-up and optimise manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, yield and cost-efficiency.
  • Support technology transfers, new product introductions (NPIs) and equipment commissioning/qualification.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and company policies.
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to solve complex technical problems.
  • Train, mentor and provide technical direction to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Bioprocess or related Engineering discipline.
  • 6+ years' experience in process engineering, preferably within pharma, biotech, medtech or advanced manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in process optimisation, validation and technology transfer.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in process modelling, data analysis and statistical tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and project management skills.
