Occupational Therapist in Neuro-Oncology Position

The ideal candidate will deliver expert occupational therapy services to meet the needs of our inpatient wards. As a member of our experienced team, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountability: The successful candidate will be accountable to the occupational therapy manager.
  • Promote the profile of occupational therapy throughout the organisation, nationally and internationally.
  • Respect patients' values, beliefs and needs, and involve them in decision-making processes as appropriate.
  • Support and delegate appropriately to occupational therapy staff working within the service area.
Requirements:
  • Hold a qualification approved by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Have at least three years satisfactory post-qualification working experience as an occupational therapist in the adult acute hospital setting.
  • Clinical experience working with Acute Medicine and Care of the Elderly caseloads is highly desirable.
