Key Responsibilities- Support the Executive Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring rigorous quality and presentation standards are upheld.
- Assume leadership of the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence, maintaining performance, communication, and quality control.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning, recipe development, and the creation of seasonal dishes that showcase local ingredients.
- Ensure impeccable food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards across all kitchen sections.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a 4 or 5-star property, with a strong understanding of culinary best practices.
- A passion for using seasonal, local ingredients and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach junior chefs.
The successful candidate will enjoy a dynamic and supportive working environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Additional InformationPrevious experience as a Sous Chef is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for seasonal, local ingredients and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
