We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at an elite private resort golf club in Co. Kerry, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Chef in upholding high standards of food production, innovative menu development, and efficient kitchen operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading a high-performing kitchen brigade, contributing to menu planning, and maintaining rigorous operational hygiene and food safety standards.

• Lead and inspire the kitchen team while acting as a role model in food production and presentation.
• Contribute insights and creativity to the menu planning process.
• Maintain rigorous operational hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to achieve desired profitability and meet budgetary expectations.
• Foster excellent relationships with the restaurant management team and other department heads to ensure seamless service delivery.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in 4-star or higher hotel kitchens or upscale restaurants.
• A bachelor's degree in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred but not essential.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Professional demeanor and a commitment to quality.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
