Job Summary:

Senior Engineering Specialist Position

This role involves providing engineering support to the facilities operations team. The Senior Engineering Specialist will be responsible for designing, specifying and commissioning new and renovated utilities and HVAC equipment.

  • Designing and commissioning new and renovated biopharmaceutical utilities and HVAC equipment
  • Managing small to mid-sized projects related to utilities and HVAC equipment services
  • Troubleshooting complex issues with plant equipment and associated systems
  • Preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organisational skills, logical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a level 8 within an engineering discipline or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in engineering preferred. For the Senior Engineer position, you must have 5+ years relevant industry experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpreting technical documentation such as P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs
  2. Supervising mechanical, electrical, and automation contractors
  3. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies and regulations
  4. Maintaining compliance with all relevant laws, policies and regulations
