Senior Geo-Environmental Project Leader

This role involves leading and growing geo-environmental services, providing technical leadership on complex ground investigations, contaminated land, and remediation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior staff, supporting strategic business development, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, implementation, and interpretation of site investigations and risk assessments (Phase I and Phase II).
- Deliver expert advice on contaminated land risk, remediation strategies, and environmental liability.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with geotechnical, environmental, and civil engineering colleagues.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Engage with clients, regulators (e.g., EPA, local authorities), and stakeholders to provide strategic advice.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g., CIWEM, IEMA, IGI, Engineers Ireland).
- Minimum 10 years' experience in geo-environmental or environmental consultancy.
- Strong understanding of Irish and EU environmental regulations, contaminated land frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering complex environmental projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
